Middle East Conflict: here’s my comment.
ALL VICTIMS ARE EQUAL
Hi Gentle Readers !
The author of the Express your view blog ask me this morning to comment on the Middle East Crisis. This is the copy of my comment in is blog.
«
You ask me for a comment. Here’s my comment:
Almost everydays we’re informed by the medias about horrifics things happend accross the World but the most revolting of them was the ones caused by human being against the others: attacks from Terrorists groups, war in Irak, genocide in Darfour, and now the war in the Middle East between Israël and their neighbors (Lebanese and Palestinians poeple: which included pacific poeple AND War Mongers such as Hebzhollah [The God’s Party] or other groups)…
For a normal person, the first reaction in such situation is to sympathised with the victims and be angry against the attackers. That’s fine but not enough…
Who’s right? Who’s wrong? These questions and their answers drive us into the same “game” of killing and revenge. Every part of this conflict can shows us their victims and ask us to be part or their revenge. This perpetuate the problem and never stop killings, making many others innocent victims.
About the fighter of each side we can say :
«The plague on both your houses» [W. Shakespeare]
We have to be part of the solution not the problem. And we have to help “part of the solution” poeple on both side in the conflict. This is a very unconfortable situation but this is the only way to get out this “vendetta’s logic”.
In the Middle East conflict, which is mainly the conflict between Israël and the Palestinians (with many externals fighters using this conflict for theirs own purpose and political agendas including Americans and Iranians for example), the poeples in power (the ones who have the weapons and used them) are the main responsible for this situation. The poeple who play their game too…
No ones of them accept the existence of the other and nobody of them recongnized that their fight will never reach a “Total victory” against their opponents. Never. The only way to get out of this situation is to stop killings others, accept compromised and talk to the other part of the conflict to sign an agreement based on cease of fire and compromised. Any total victory is excluded for any part in this conflict.
When we see the tears of mothers in South Lebanon, these tears are real and we cried with them.
But when we see tears in the faces of the fighters and war mongers be sure that these tears are what we called in french : “des larmes de crocodiles”: crocodile tears… We don’t believed they care of these victims but they used them for their purposes.
The question is not who is wrong - who is right but: How to set up a compromised solution between us with the objective of living in peace?
The only way to sympatised with the victims past and present from all parts, (all victims are equal): we must encourage every pacific poeple of both side to take the power, stop fire and start to negociate to reach a compromised solution.
Who can say that he did not know that it’s the only solution?
“The ink of the scientists is more invaluable than the blood of the martyrs”
Peace!

Read this too at ALJAZEERA :
« Israel has rejected mounting international pressure to end its 20-day-old war against Hezbollah and the UN has indefinitely postponed a meeting on a new peacekeeping force for Lebanon.»
